Manufacturing Services: Painting/Decorating

In addition to injection molding and coextruded film technology, Mayco also offers a number of other production services for our clients. We are proud of our parts management and robotic paint system. Mayco's ABB paint robots and short stroke reciprocators can apply both waterbourne and solvent based paints with computer control of simultaneous multiple paint coats. For specialized applications, we also offer two-component "soft touch" paint capability. Our closed loop system incorporates 5-stage powerwash units and numerous environmental protection controls throughout the multi-stream painting facility.

Computer control assures consistency in run-to-run color matching and coverage, with the same parts tracking capability found throughout Mayco's entire operation.

Some of our plastic parts or subassemblies need additional decoration. Mayco has an in-house decorating department for the application of graphics, striping, decorative finishes, hot stamping or pad printing. Parts are efficiently managed through the use of 10 belt line conveyors. If desired, we can also provide hand spray paint operations for special applications.
