Protecting the environment is a key factor throughout the manufacturing process. Mayco explores new applications and works at improving existing techniques that offer safer environmental solutions. Mold-in-color adds more value for the customer with a safer environmental solution, as well as, a more economic alternative to paint.

Pre-colored plastic resins are used in the injection-molding process. When finished, the part has a 95 to 100 percent color match and depending on the complexity of the part, Mayco’s mold-in-color process can meet a variety of specifications. A seamless outer appearance with a consistent grain, texture and complex surface styling can be achieved.

Today’s automakers are continually faced with integrating several different features into a single part, which presents the manufacture with a variety of challenges. Mayco can successfully meet those demands with our mold-in-color injection molding process.
